Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Real Black Love Cancellation and Refund Policy is a contract between RealBlackLove.com LLC. (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Real Black Love“) and its Members (“you,” “your“). It describes Real Black Love’s cancellation and refund policies. This Cancellation and Refund Policy is entered into as of the date you are bound to our Terms of Use (“Effective Date”), is governed by our Terms of Use, and is subject to change from time to time as described therein. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein have the meanings ascribed to them in the Terms of Use.
The first paragraph of the Terms of Use describes your right to terminate as follows: For subscribers residing in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin, or any other state with a statutory buyer’s right to cancel: You, the buyer, may cancel the Terms of Use and receive a full refund, without any penalty or obligation, at any time before midnight of the third business day following the date of signing agreement/contract, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays. To cancel the Services, you must contact us. Members residing in Iowa, New York, and Ohio who wish to cancel the Terms of Use must submit a Notice of Buyer’s Cancellation.
Generally, if you are accepted as a paid Real Black Love member, all purchases from Real Black Love are FINAL, although special terms may apply if you live in certain states as set forth above or if there are special circumstances described herein.
Candidate Memberships. Non-match inclusive, “Candidate membership” services are offered and include availability for matching with Real Black Love VIP only. Candidate memberships do not provide guaranteed matching and are non-refundable, and non-transferable, in all circumstances. Candidate Members may cancel at any time if they want to opt out of matching by notifying hello@realblacklove.com. Real Black Love reserves the right to terminate membership without refund and refuse future service for problematic date conduct; repeated unavailability and/or date cancellation; and, inappropriate or discourteous behavior toward any Real Black Love customer or team member. None of the foregoing terms apply to membership.
VIP Memberships. The match-inclusive Real Black Love services are offered as “VIP” and may include a designated number of matches, a professional photo shoot, and recruiting according to your choice of Real Black Love’s match package, to be used consecutively until completion of your service package.
All Members are purchasing Real Black Love’s Services. You are not only purchasing a specific number of matches, you are also purchasing time spent with a matchmaker and internal Real Black Love support teams, and their interactions and insights with you under their service of your experience. Part of this insight may include date conduct insights, date preparation, and general dating advice. In addition, you are purchasing, via the implementation of your matchmaker in conjunction with internal support teams, access to Real Black Love’s proprietary matching technology and candidate pool.
If you have purchased a VIP membership, you are also purchasing, in addition to the services listed above, the immediate commencement of the services of one of Real Black Love’s premier matchmakers, candidate searching, and targeted candidate recruiting.
CLIENT REFUND POLICY
This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) offers resolutions and remedies tailored to your experience and the value you have gained from your experience. You acknowledge and agree that, as of the date of your selection as a paid Member, Real Black Love has already commenced preparing for and actually performing the Services, and that our fees will be deemed to have been earned on the Effective Date and will thereafter be non-refundable except as set forth herein.
This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all new Real Black Love Members regardless of designated package status, including Candidate and VIP Members; all Members renewing their Real Black Love service, aka “renewal members”; as well as seasonal, holiday, and promotional packages.
Real Black Love Termination Based on Participation / Conduct: In addition, if: (1) you consistently or repeatedly refuse an introduction to selected matches; (2) you exhibit a problematic or repeated lack of availability to either the matchmaker or to your matches; (3) matches report to us that you behaved poorly; (4) you provided false or misleading information to either us or to selected matches; or (5) you violate any of the terms of your agreement with us, you will forfeit matches and we may terminate your membership if we are unable to satisfactorily resolve such issue in our sole discretion. You will then lose any unused matches and you will not be entitled to a refund for the Services.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND PROCEDURE
Subject to any statutory Buyer’s Right to Cancel, as outlined in the Terms of Use and paragraph 2 of this Agreement, any cancellation or refund request must be submitted in writing to Real Black Love to be considered for a refund, otherwise any remaining services or value of unused services is null and void. If you qualify for a permitted cancellation (as set forth above) or a refund, you must request such cancellation or a refund in writing by contacting Customer Success at hello@realblacklove.com or by mailing or delivering a signed and dated notice that states that you, the buyer, are canceling this agreement or requesting a refund, or words of similar effect. In your notice, please include your name, email address, telephone number, and the reason you are canceling the Service or requesting a refund.
You may also mail or deliver a signed and dated notice to, RealBlackLove.com LLC – 14316 Reese Blvd. West Suite B #6014 Huntersville, NC 28078 subject to the Terms of Use. Once we have received your request for cancellation or a refund, we will evaluate the request and inform you promptly if you qualify for a refund. Approved refunds will be posted promptly and may be subject to certain credit card processing fees.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, any refund outlined in this Cancellation and Refund Policy is calculated on a pro rata basis for unused Match Cycles after subtracting the Onboarding and General Service Fee from the total amount paid for the applicable package. You must sign Real Black Love’s standard Settlement and Release Agreement to accept your refund.
You must use our refund process before initiating any refund remedy (including any “chargeback” or other refund programs) directly through your banking institution. If you do so before going through our refund process, we will consider your refund request null and void, and we will no longer be able to assist you with your request. In the event that your banking or credit institutions resolve your claim in Real Black Love’s favor, then you will forfeit any remaining Services and will not be refunded.
TERMINATION OF SERVICES
Real Black Love reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Services in its sole discretion, for any reason or for no reason, with or without notice. You agree that Real Black Love shall not be liable to you or any other party for ending, discontinuing, suspending, terminating or permanently stopping the Website or Services.
This Cancellation and Refund Policy sets forth your sole and exclusive remedy and Real Black Love’s sole liability for any dissatisfaction you may have with any of the Services. Real Black Love reserves the right to modify the Website and Terms of Service at our sole discretion.
