Since 2013, Real Black Love has assisted African-Americans in connecting authentically and effectively. With a deep-rooted passion for black love, the company is dedicated to assisting black singles in manifesting better and lasting connections. Real Black Love Matchmaking is headed up by matchmakers Joseph and Paris Dixon, they have helped thousands of black singles with interactive, real-life solutions to finding love. The matchmaking couple has garnered a large following from across the country due to their dating expertise, intriguing personalities and uniqueness of being a married African-American matchmaking couple.
Most wouldn’t expect that her journey into the matchmaking profession took her by total surprise! At North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Paris Dixon studied Journalism & Mass Communications. After graduating in what was a downward economy, Paris found roles working in sales, marketing and the tech field. Paris was convinced by her now husband Joseph Dixon to join the Real Black Love movement in early 2020.
Joseph Dixon is what many would call a unicorn in the dating industry as being one of the very few African-American male matchmakers. Joseph graduated with a Bachelors of Sociology and Computer Science from North Carolina Wesleyan University. The matchmaker allowed his professional background and education to help guide him to start the Real Black Love movement in 2013. Joseph is driven by a mission to promote healthy relationships and sustain the spirit of love in the black community to grow his company.
Real Black Love Matchmaking was voted the #1 black matchmaking agency by iDate in 2019 and has been featured on NBC, BET/CBS, Business Insider, BRAVO, PEOPLE, Philadelphia Tribune, DatingNews.com, E! News, OK! Magazine, FOX 11Alive Atlanta, Women’s Health, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and many more national media outlets.
Joseph and Paris Dixon are currently growing their matchmaking empire while simultaneously raising their three sons in the Charlotte area of North Carolina.
